Aneeta Mishra
Founder & Partner
Aneeta Mishra is a California trial attorney who vigilantly protects client interests through detailed preparation, close attention to the record, and practical advocacy. Her focused practice includes workers’ compensation, immigration, selected employment disputes, and related litigation.
Trial-focused advocacy across a select range of matters
Aneeta applies the same core discipline across workers’ compensation, immigration, employment, and related litigation: identify the controlling facts, understand the forum, preserve the record, and prepare the next stage before pressure arrives.
In workers’ compensation matters, she counsels injured workers through disputed claims, medical-legal evaluations, hearings, and settlement decisions. Her work in other forums is guided by the same vigilance toward deadlines, evidence, procedure, and the client’s stated objectives.
Experience informed by both sides of a claim
Before representing injured workers, Aneeta defended insurance carriers and employers in workers’ compensation matters. She began that work as in-house counsel to Liberty Mutual and later became a partner at an Orange County law firm.
That background informs how she evaluates medical, factual, and procedural issues, anticipates defenses, and prepares a client’s position for negotiation, hearing, or trial. It also reinforces her commitment to direct communication about the strengths, risks, and practical choices presented by a case.
Academic preparation and analytical perspective
Aneeta earned her law degree from Western State College of Law in Fullerton, graduating cum laude. She served as an Editor of the Law Review, earned recognition on the Dean’s Honor Roll, and received a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Negotiations.
At the University of California, Irvine, she earned a BS in Biology and a BA in Political Science. She also co-authored The Rate of Terminal Nucleotide Loss from a Telomere of the Mosquito Anopheles Gambiae, published in the journal Insect Molecular Biology. The scientific work is part of her academic background and reflects the careful analysis she brings to complex records.
